Mrs. Laurel Doster
Hi everyone! My name is Laurel Doster, and I teach fourth grade Reading/ELA. This will be my fifth year teaching at CCES and my seventh year teaching in Bartow County. I am married to my best friend from high school, David, and am the mother of three boys: Noah, who just graduated from Florida State University; Wyatt, who is a Marine and is stationed in Okinawa; and Ian, who is going to be a 10th grader at Adairsville High School this year. I graduated from Florida State University, and the Seminoles are my team. Go Noles!! My favorite season is a tie between Summer and Fall, and I love to go camping, kayaking, and hiking during both seasons. I am also an avid reader and like to travel. In fact, so far, I have lived in Washington D.C., Hawaii, California, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, and Georgia as well as visited many others. That being said, I am Georgia born and raised and very proud of it!! Finally, I have two dogs. One is a rescue dog named Jake and the other is a Pug named Zachary/Puggie. I am looking forward to beginning this school year at CCES and getting to know all of my new students!!
