Facts About Me

-I have been married to my husband Chad for six years. We are blessed with our daughter, Pamela, who turned one on July 4th. She is our little firecracker. We have our fur-daughter, Saddie, who is a Chiweenie. She is five years old.

-We have lived in Calhoun for six years. I grew up in Fairmount.  We attend church at Ranger Baptist where I help teach Sunday School and I teach VBS each year for 0-5 year old children.

-I went to school in Gordon County until high school, where I graduated from Calhoun High School in 2000.

-I went to Dalton State College and graduated with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education in 2012.

-I followed in my mother’s footsteps... She was a Pre-K paraprofessional for 25 years at Red Bud Elementary in Gordon County.

-I have taught for five years, with four years (including this year) in Pre-K. Before moving to Pre-K, I taught 1st grade for one year at CCES. Before moving to Clear Creek, I was a kindergarten paraprofessional at Calhoun Primary for two years and a computer teacher for Calhoun Primary for one year.

-I have been blessed to have taught for five years at Clear Creek Elementary.

-My favorite subjects in school were science and social studies.  My favorite colors are pink, turquoise, and lime green.  I love summer and my favorite holiday is Christmas.

-I am a huge GEORGIA BULLDOGS fan!! GO DAWGS! SICK'EM!! I also love to watch the Braves.

-I love Mexican, seafood, and Italian.  Henry's in Acworth and Olive Garden are two of my favorite places to eat.

-I love to go to the beach and finding historical places to visit.  One of my favorite places I have been is Gettysburg, PA, Bahamas, and Disney World.  I love to get a special souvenir (bought or found) from places that we visit, since my husband and I have been married.

-I love to travel, take pictures, swim, explore outside, shopping, and sports.

-My favorite thing about working at CCES is the people.  It feels like a family and everybody likes to help their fellow teachers in any way possible.  It’s a close-nit school where our main focus is the success and safety of our students.
